We Don't Create so Much as Observe, Digital Installation, 2017-2019.

There are times when we think that we will no longer be able to produce work again. Yet, we do it on a daily basis without being aware of it. The only thought that never escape the mind is the attraction for our subject.

We Don't Create so Much as Observe is a collection of 50 contemporary scenes where one can find a rhythm - a reassuring redundancy. In a digital installation they float and succeed one another like billboards at dusk on the banks of large impersonal boulevards. They act as visual atmospheres, aspiring to sell dreams to those who have forgotten how to escape.

The images were taken in Mexico, California, Oregon, Florida, Connecticut, New York and Quebec over the last three years.
